54 CCs!

Southern Counties was a successful show for team Witchgait!   Dixie won the RCC and Pixie won her 11th CC!  Our judge was Roberta Wright.  A GREAT DAY!

Birmingham Championship Show, under breed specialist judge, Pam lyons, Dixie won his 8th CC!  I’m so proud to have bred this boy; he has a wonderful temperament and is always so happy with life. He is a pleasure to own. Well done to Beryl on winning her first CC & BOB, and also to breeder Jane – a great day.

Added a new photo of Pixie (Ch Witchgait Face the Future of Ashowai). Pixie is owned, shown and adored by Andy & Heather Morris. This girl has done us so proud; she is now almost 2½ now, so a very exciting time for us in the showring. Many congratulations to Andy & Heather for campaigning pixie so well

We had a fab day at Crufts! Breed Specialist, Wendy Coates, awarded 2nd in Veteran Dog and 1st in Good Citizen Class to Ronnie, Ch Foregevalley Start Struck at Witchgait. Ronnie, now 10 years old, has not been shown for over 2 years, but he took it all in his stride. He certainly showed the youngsters a thing or two! Then Dixie, Ch Witchgait Sounds Terrific, was placed 3rd in a very strong open class. Inchi, Ch Headholme Sound of Music at Witchgait, had a fab day too, she certainly enjoyed herself, and at 8½ years old she showed her socks off, winning 1st in Veteran Bitch and 1st in Good Citizen Class. But to top off what was already a fab day, Pixie, Ch Witchgait Face the Future of Ashowai, owned by Heather and Andy Morris (Ashowai), was awarded the BITCH CC! wwwoooo hooooo!!! We were thrilled to bits to say the least. This was her 10th CC and at just over 2 years of age the best is yet to come! The wonderful award made it CC number 52 for the Witchgait Kennel. I am so so proud to say the least!

Exciting well planned litters are from Tippi (Ch Witchgait Wish Upon a Star) and Dixie (Ch Witchgait Sounds Terrific) and also Pinch (Witchgait Pinch an Inch) and Alfie (Ashowai in Ta Dreams, owned by Heather and Andy Mmorris). Our main aim is to breed healthy, typey and good tempered dogs. Colours expected are reds and red/fawns, and will be brushcoats.

At Manchester, under Jeff Luscott (Jalus), “Dixie” (Ch Witchgait Sounds Terrific) won the RCC, and “Pixie” “Ch Witchgait Face the Future for Ashowai) won her 9th CC! woooo hooo! What a great start to 2013. This brings our total to 51 CCs!

CH Headholme Dound of Music at Witchgait, “Inchi”, has done it again!! Top Brood Bitch 2012!

She has won this award for the 2nd year running! I am so proud.

Witchgait wins 50 CCs !!!!!!

Ch Witchgait Face The Future of Ashowai, “Pixie”, wins her 8th CC and BIS at the SHAR PEI CLUB OF GB Championship dog show, under breed specialist Stella Chadwick(Chadson).

I’m so thrilled and proud of this girl! She is owned by Heather and Andy Morris of Ashowai Shar Pei. A big thank you to them for campaigning
her so well and thus making Witchgait’s 50th CC (dogs owned or bred by Witchgait). I’m over the moon to say the least!

Well, what a day we had under Meg Purnell Carpenter! DIXIE wins 1st in open dog & the dog CC (his 7th), & his baby sister, PIXIE (owned by Heather & Andy Morris of Ashowai Shar Pei) wins her 7th CC & BOB, thus making it CC no 49 for the Witchgait kennel!

Well, where do I start?! Richmond was such a wonderful day. Dixie was 2nd in open amd won the RCC (to add to his 25 RCCs and 6 CCs), Pixie won 1st Open and the Bitch CC (making her winnings 6 CCs and 7 RCCs), Millie Moo won Limit Bitch and the RCC (her first)!  I am so chuffed and thrilled. These litter mates are out of Ch Kolnago Bloomin Terrific X Ch Headholme Sound of Music at Witchgait.

CCs won is now 47! I am thrilled to bits to say the least

Carol Harwood (Minarets) was judging Shar Pei at Birmingham Championship Show. She awared Witchgait Music Maker (Millie) 2nd in Limit Bitch and her litter sister, Witchgait Face the Future at Ashoai (Pixie), 1st in Open Bitch and Bitch CC (her 5th!)

This brings the number of CCs won by Witchgait bred dogs to 46!

At the Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show, under top all-rounder Derek Smith, Dixie wins 2nd in Open Bitch and Millie won 3rd in Limit Bitch.

We’ve now uploaded some photos of Milo. who lives with Damian, Olivia and baby Joshua!

We’ve just added 6 new photos of Ronnie! Ronnie lives with Louise, Jordan and Marbles, and we are lucky to be able to meet up for walks, and I can see just how happy he is!

Here, at Witchgait, we are planning a very exciting litter towards the end of the year, from my two homebred Champions – Dixie x Tippi. Reds and red/fawn brushcoat puppies are expected from this mating.

Blackpool Championship Show was a great day for witchgait. Under top all rounder, Albert Wight, Dixie won the Dog RCC, Tippi won 2nd in Open Bitch, Millie won 2nd in Limit Bitch and Pixie won 1st in Open Bitch and the Bitch RCC!
